QUICK TO INSTALL AND LEARN
The software has easy-to-use tools, accompanied with introductory videos for starting out with FreeDimension™ that guide users through the initial usage of the technology (via downloads on the FreeDesign™ web site).
EXPORT AND IMPORT FORMATS
A growing list of import and export formats is in development so users can apply designs created with FreeDimension™ into the design and production workflow.
- Current Formats include: .obj, .stl, .skp (Sketchup), IGES, NURBS
- Future Formats include: Precise NURBS (watertight), DXF, ACIS
PLATFORM SUPPORT
The software is compatible with a Windows-based PC, using Windows Vista, XP Home or Pro, or Windows Server 2003. (Windows 2000 does not support the software.)
Recommended Hardware: Open-GL compliant, with a minimum 1 GB HDD processor.
